According to Yonhap News,
Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF) held a groundbreaking for its new company building in Daegu Innovative City with Commissioner of Financial Services Kim Seok-dong and Daegu Mayor Kim Beom-il.
KCGF is one of the 11 public institutions to be relocated to Daegu Innovative City with the largest number of employees of 2,130.
"I hope KCGF would fulfill its duty as an institution supporting small-and-medium-sized enterprises and contribute to facilitating the regional economy," said Commissioner Kim.
The 4.216 million square meter-Daegu Innovative City is under construction with about 82.5 percent of land being secured as of May.
About 7,700 homes will be supplied to employees to ensure them resident-friendly environment. And three kindergartens, two elementary schools and a middle school and high school, respectively, will be built.
