Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) will utilize Gyeongbuk-International Trade & Investment Center (GITIC) as a tool to attract foreign direct investment (FDI).
Gyeongbuk (Gyeongsangbuk-do (Province)) dispatches nine officials to seven regions in four countries in a bid to lay the groundwork for FDI attraction. Of the total nine, two are in China’s Beijing, two in Japan’s Tokyo and Osaka, three in America’s LA and New York, one in India’s Chennai and the remaining one (international relations officer) in China’s Henan.
They visited the DGFEZ on Tuesday to demonstrate their willingness to be aggressively engaged in searching high-potential foreign investors and promoting the DGFEZ.
The DGFEZ will forge partnerships with world-renowned consulting agencies, foreign chambers of commerce and industry in Korea, international trade and investment centers for FDI attraction.
