Daegu city, North Gyeongsang Province, and the Daegu branch of the Small & Medium Business Corporation (SBC) will send a trade mission from October 24 to Yangon, Myanmar, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand.

The trade mission will consist of about 10 small- and medium-sized companies from Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province which produce firefighting equipment, cosmetics, medical equipment, electricity generators, stationery and automotive parts, which have higher export competitiveness.

Companies which wish to participate can apply to Daegu city or Daegu branch of the SBC by July 25.

Those who participate in the trade mission will be provided with information on local markets and a list of buyers and supported with one-on-one consultations with buyers, interpretation service and more to help penetrate the market.

Ahn Kuk-jung, head of the Economy and Trade Bureau of Daegu noted that participating in a trade mission can help overseas marketing of a company, adding that it will be a good opportunity for many local companies which produce outstanding companies.
