Daegu City held the Korea Night, an investment promotion event, for CEOs and minister who attended the World Energy Congress yesterday.

The event drew about 200 attendees, including 156 energy company CEOs from Korea and abroad, 37 government officials and seven representatives from international organizations.

The Korea Night consisted of business meetings, introduction of energy policies and industries and information sessions on investment climate.

Daegu mayor Kim Bum-il notd that the event will serve as an opportunity to enhance the image of Daegu and the city will put upmost efforts to build a network with global companies to promote investment.
