The Taegu Science University announced today that it held an exchange program by inviting about 70 students from the Beppu University, a sister university yesterday.
The event aimed to promote human and cultural exchanges between the two universities. Japanese students had a chance to look about training facilities in the Taegu Science University and compare and experience Korea’s training.
A variety of training facilities and cultural experiences were offered to students.
A student from the Beppu University noted that it was very meaningful opportunity to experience the Korean culture which she has only seen on TV.
President of the Taegu Science University Kim Seok-jong noted that the university plans to diversify international exchanges with foreign universities and industries to foster global talents, adding that the university will consistently develop global training programs, including field trips and study abroad programs.
Another group of students from the Beppu Unviersity is also planned to visit the Taegu Science University to experience the Korean culture and education.
