(DAEGU = Yonhap News) City of Daegu will hold ‘The Symposium on the Future Vision for Water Industry Cluster’ on 13th at Exco, with one hundred relevant attending the opening session.

The symposium is primarily for world water market preemption, promotion of water industry, and vitalization of water industry cluster developed in Daegu National Industrial Complex.

In the symposium, Former Minister of Environment Gwok Gyulho will give a special lecture called ‘The Future Strategy for National Water Industry’.

Min Gyungseok, professor of Gyungbuk University will present ‘The upbringing policy for national water industry and market prospect’. Head of Public Investment Research Institute Jung Gunho’s ‘General Planning and Feasibility Study for Water Industry Cluster’, and head of Econity Co., Ltd. Chang Munseok’s ‘The current States of Water-related Materials Industry and development prospect’ will also be presented in the symposium respectively.

“We will work hard to promote the city’s water industry cluster and take this chance to build cooperative network for water industry as well.” Director of Daegu Environment and Greenbelt Bureau Kim Buseob said.
