DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) DAFOOD 2014, formally known as Daegu International Food Industry Exhibition, will take place at EXCO in Daegu.

DAFOOD 2014 will be the largest ever event with 350 participating companies and 600 booths. Processed and Functional Food Zone, Food Franchise Promotion Zone, Coffee and Dessert Zone and Special Products Zone will also be built for participants.

Ottogi, CJ and other Korea major food companies will hold one-on-one export consulting sessions with home shopping companies. The session will be co-hosted by Small and Medium Business Administration and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.

On the sidelines of main events, camping equipment targeting young people will be on display and chefs will give lectures to participants about easy and quick cooking at camping sites. Cocktail and wine seminars will also attract participants.

“The event will be a place for communication between general audience and participating food companies though various promotions activities.” said a city official.
