(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The City of Daegu and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) will run Intellectual Property (IP) Creation Zone beginning in June.

IP Creation Zone is a place for developing people’s ideas and encouraging start-ups and technology transfer. The zone(total floor area of 260㎡) will be built in Intellectual Property Center of DCCI. PC Education Center, 3D Workshop for realizing ideas and Support Center for Company Establishment will comprise the Zone.

The City of Daegu and DCCI recruit 20 trainees who want to attend the first creative class by June 5. Citizens of Daegu and students who are enrolled in universities in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province are eligible for the class free of charge.
