(DAEGU=NEWSIS) According to LH Daegu & Gyeongbuk branch, Daegu National Industrial Park Investment Fair was held June 19, with participation of 200 companies wishing to enter the complex. Director of Daegu City and LH director general also attended the fair.

Presentations on the construction process of business district, site advantage and construction plan were given. Explanations on the topography of the complex and the village history were also provided.

Choi Jong-young, LH director general, explained that LH will make its best effort to successfully complete the construction, urging investors’ interest.

“This is the city’s very first industrial complex, which is why many are interested. It is much cheaper to do business here than in other industrial complexes, and we will apply for a subdivision,” said one corporate representative.

“We had a lot more corporate visitors than we anticipated, and it seems that subdivision applications will flood in,” said Son Hee-kyung, chief of LH land sales division.

Daegu National Industrial Park was built on a factory site of 647,000㎡. Occupants’ application is accepted from June 23 to 27, and tenant companies will be decided July 17. Contracts will be signed from July 25 to 31.
