(SEJONG=Yonhap News) According to a study on the business conditions of 485 regional companies in Daegu and Gyeongbuk that is conducted by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk office of the Bank of Korea, the September’s business survey index (BSI) on manufacturing is 69, a 6 point decrease from the previous month.

If the BSI hovers around 100, many companies are positive with their business conditions while the opposite if the BSI is lower than 100.

The BSI on nonmanufacturing recorded 76, not so different from that of the previous month (75).

Manufacturers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk pointed the weak domestic demand and uncertain economic conditions for affecting the difficult business conditions.
