(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu City announced February 26 that it will nurture 300 experts in information protection with the Daegu information protection support center of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

It is to respond to cyber-attack threats and prevent private information leakage.

The city signed a business agreement with KISA to nurture talents to project internet and information.

The education is for anyone who works at companies and public agencies that handle regional information protection and members of information protection groups.

The city will provide education at the KISA Academy Daegu Center for free of charge.
