(DAEGU=NEWSIS) Daegu City announced March 3 to establish an urban restoration strategy plan.

The core contents of the urban restoration strategy plan include settling vision and goals, preparing a mid- to long-term roadmap and designating a region by analyzing the conditions of each region.

The city plans to establish an annual basic plan in March. It will complete the plan in June, 2016 after going through an administrative process including a public hearing and gather opinions at the city council.

"We will conduct an in-depth analysis on the current status of the city when establishing the strategy plan," said a city official.
