(GYEONGSAN=Yonhap News)Daegu University announced April 23 that it has been selected as a participating university for the 2015 InnoCampus Accelerating Project, which is hosted by the INNOPOLIS Foundation.
Unlike existing projects that support startups on an incubation level, the project will provide mentoring to startups from reviewing their items to attracting investment by cooperating with universities and consortium institutions (accelerators) that have startup infrastructure.
Daegu University will invest KRW 600 million in finding potential entrepreneurs and supporting them for the next two years.
"We will strive to provide actual help to startups based on our accumulated know-hows from 36 startup-supporting projects over the last three years," said a university official.
