(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu City announced May 20 that it has attracted seven companies so that they will move to the Daegu National Industrial Complex.
The city will sign investment agreements with the seven companies on May 21.
The seven companies include LiSAL, Young-il Education System, Build on Development, HANKOOK DIES, Toin, Kihong Mecca Tech and Seowoo Industry.
The companies have agreed to revitalize the regional economy and create new jobs, while Daegu City, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of LH and Daegu Urban Development Corporation provide administrative support to them.
The companies will build their manufacturing facilities on 82,000㎡ of land and go into operation in 2017.
The total investment is KRW 110 billion and the city expects the companies will create 525 new jobs.
