(DAEGU=NEWSIS) Daegu City announced June 25 that it will hold the next generation mobile convergence technology conference and investment promotion fair on June 26 at Hotel Inter Burgo Exco to provide startups and small- and medium-sized venture capitals not only information on the next generation convergence technology but also investment opportunities.

The city will invite 14 investors the conference and select 22 companies among the 41 applicants to introduce their investment strengths to investors.

The investment promotion fair will provide opportunities to the regional small- and medium-sized companies that lack financing capacity to attract investment and carry out corporate activities. It will also be a venue to provide information and facilitate the convergence industry to expand the future mobile convergence industry and find new industries.

"We will do our utmost to help regional potential companies to attract investment and ICT companies to secure global competitiveness," said a city official.
