(DAEGU=Yonhap News) KT&C Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Changbo Co., Ltd. of Daegu and TECHEF Inc. of the United States, will invest USD 6 million in the Daegu Technopolis.

The Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority announced September 29 that it signed an investment memorandum of understanding with KT&C Co., Ltd.

KT&C Co., Ltd. will build a plant to produce nonferrous metal products and premium kitchenware on 12,341㎡ of land at the Daegu Technopolis by the first half of 2016.

KT&C Co., Ltd. will create 70 jobs and record more than USD 20 million of export annually by 2020.
