According to Newsis News,
(ULSAN=Newsis News) Ulsan City announced on December 19 that it will break ground for the second phase of the Gilcheon General Industrial Complex 2 within this year with a plan to complete construction work by December 2018.
The industrial complex will be built on 487,000 square meters of land in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju County.
Target businesses are electronic component, computer, audio and video devices, communications equipment, machinery an equipment manufacturing, automobile and trailer manufacturing.
Tenant companies are eligible for benefits including local investment promotion subsidy and tax benefits (75% reduction in acquisition and property tax for domestic companies).
Lots are currently being sold at KRW 940,000 per 3.3 square meters. 5 out of 25 lots, or 18% of total area, have been sold.
The industrial complex boasts competitive logistics infrastructure as it is a 10-minute drive from Ulsan KTX station and a 8-minute drive from West Ulsan IC of the Gyeongbu Expressway. The site is also connected with national highway No. 24 which runs from Ulsan to Miryang.
Located near urban areas, living condition for employees is favorable as well.
