(ULSAN=Yonhap News) Nam-gu, Ulsan City, famous for its whaling tradition, has decided to transform an unused mooring area at the Jangsaeng Port into a waterfront for leisure purposes, complete with promenades, resting areas, parking spaces for food trucks, and coffee shops.
The mooring area is 600 meters long, 5 to 15 meters wide, and is currently being used to store fishes and waste.
The district plans to spend a total of KRW 3.05 billion to complete the project by the end of this year.
