ULSAN < invest Korea

(ULSAN=Newsis News) The city of Ulsan is giving shape to the ICT-convergence Industry 4.0 Offshore & Shipbuilding (OS) Project.

Launched in September 2016, the ICT-convergence Industry 4.0 OS Project will be carried out until 2020 with a total investment of KRW 107.2 billion.

And as part of the plan, KRW 35.4 billion will be injected until 2019 into building an industry convergence-type High-tech Town at the Industrial Convergence Zone in the Ulsan Techno General Industrial Complex (site area 4,591m², building area 11,898m²).

A briefing will take place on the completion of the new town's design on August 11 at the Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency.

When completed, the industry convergence-type High-tech Town will feature an ICT Creative Convergence Center, Software Quality Verification Lab, and Cabin Environment Test Bed.

Research accomplishments of the ICT-convergence Industry 4.0 Offshore & Shipbuilding Project's 22 categories will be demonstrated and tested at the new location so that they can be applied to actual industrial operations.
