(ULSAN=Newsis) On February 6, at the Hotel Hyundai Ulsan, Ulsan College held a convergence education conference on nurturing world-class colleges (WCC) that was hosted by the Ministry of Education.
The conference was planned in an effort to find win-win strategies for the university and local communities to mutually benefit from the fourth industrial revolution, and share and expand the university's WCC initiative's achievements.
At the conference, Ulsan College's president Heo Jeongseok expressed that the school will lead the fourth industrial revolution by continuously investing in curricular reform and building smart factories, as it has been selected for the seventh year in a row as a WCC project college.
Various speakers participated in the conference, including Kim Nam-hun, head of the 3D Printing Advanced Production Technology Research Center at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), who talked about 'keeping up with the fourth industrial revolution,' and professor Heo Tae-seong of Inha Technical College, who discussed 'K-MOOC (massive open online course) entry methods.'
