According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) On July 13, Ulsan Port Authority announced it will amend the guidelines for the management of the port's harbor complex in accordance with the mid- to long-term development strategy of Ulsan New Port.

Major revisions include: designation of special zones for each industry in the complex, strengthening manufacturing administration support, establishment of eco-friendly energy facilities; liquid blending for added value generation and upgrading the performance evaluation criteria for selecting tenants.

The port construction is divided into four specialized areas (manufacturing area, general logistics area, complex logistics area, eco area) according to the business characteristics of the tenant companies.

In addition, the company selected the tenants for each specialized zone and prepared the evaluation criteria.

In particular, social values (employment, safety, environment) were added as evaluation criteria, and when a company builds green energy facilities, the complex will support the cost and licensing administration tasks.
