According to Yonhap News,
(ULSAN=Yonhap News) Ulsan city announced on January 21 that it has confirmed a plan to run a Ulsan booth at international exhibitions and trade shows jointly with Ulsan office of the Korea International Trade Association, and invite applications for participation from companies.
This plan, operating a Ulsan booth at selected exhibitions-internationally recognized in the industries where the region is focused including auto parts, shipbuilding&marine, petrochemical plant, industrial machinery, and fine chemical-aims to support overseas marketing and exports of SMEs.
International exhibitions and trade shows that will have the Ulsan booth are:
the Asia Pacific Maritime, to be held in Singapore in March; Asian Oil, Gas&Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June; MTA Vietnam in Hochiminh in July; Hong Kong Mega Show in October; China Coat in Sanghai in November; and Automechanika Sanghai in December.
The exhibitions have been selected based on a survey of local companies conducted in October last year.
The city will invite six to ten SMEs for each exhibition.
Participating companies will be provided with support in booth rental fees, equipment fees, transportation fees, interpretation fees, and one-way flight ticket (1 person for 1 company)
Those who want to participate shall submit application online via http://ultrade.kr.
A city official said "the companies participated in international exhibitions last year expressed high level of satisfaction and achievement"
