On May 9, Ulsan city announced that it will run a "project to match companies seeking investment with foreign capital" jointly with KOTRA.
The project was devised to assist local SMEs, who have technology and ideas but lacked financial resources and overseas sales channels, bolster their competitiveness by matching them with global investment companies.
The specifics of the project includes: supporting production of investment promotion materials; discovering appropriate investors through KOTRA's 36 Business Centers overseas; posting companies' projects on the IKMP portal site; and giving them opportunities to participate in KOTRA's investment events in Korea and abroad.
Those eligible to participate are SMEs located in Ulsan, with support provided for two years.
Those who want to participate are required to submit application on the website of Investment KOREA by May 31.
