Ulsan, ready to build up Marine Engineering and Shipbuilding High Tech Valley

According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) The city of Ulsan and Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency said on Oct 11 that they both reached an agreement on working together on advertisement for residence in the Marine Engineering and Shipbuilding High Tech Valley. The Valley is located inside the Ulsan Techno-Industrial Cluster, a specially designed zone to further advance ICT combined technology and marine/ shipbuilding technology by the city government.

The total size of this 7 story building that has a basement level below reaches to 100,446m3. The construction project has begun last March, 2018 and comes to an end next month. The requirement to qualify for the residence is businesses or research centers involved in ICT technology, shipbuilding or marine engineering, software / cultural contents closely linked to the business.

The Valley can accommodate 21 enterprises or research institutions and the admission starts from the end of next month. Once registered, the residents can stay for two years and extend the lease term for every two year, going through an examination process for the contract renewal.
