According to Yonhap News,
Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) announced the launch of ‘manufacturing big data analysis project’, partnering with seven local SMEs on Nov. 20.
These partners and UNIST had an inauguration ceremony at the ‘Industry-University Convergence Campus’ on Nov. 19, starting to run the project that lasts for the next three months until Feb. 2020.
Utilizing a big data analysis monitoring system dubbed ‘InterOne’, those who join this research work will collect, make an analysis and visualization of business activities to read the pattern, which will become the source of problem solving and customized solutions.
The research outcome will be used to make business management more efficient and to maximize performance. The president of the UNIST said “We’ll put more emphasis on data analysis and the way to be innovative, a must to run business for many entrepreneurs. We’ll write a new chapter of manufacturing innovation along with our partners involved.”
