The city of Ulsan announced the plan to send a group of city delegates to Ho chi Minh, part of efforts to attract more tourists from Vietnam. The three day project was timed to coincide with the concert of high profile singer in Vietnam, Jun Pham, from Dec. 19.
The delegation put up a special stand to promote tourist sites in Ulsan city in the corner of the concert hall, along with a set of subsequent events running a briefing session & sales call targeting travel agencies and Ho Chi Minh tourist bureau. The city delegates aired a short advertisement for Ulsan city on the giant screen set up in the middle of the concert hall. Teaming up with a local broadcaster, they took part in a joint production of the advertising documentary, introducing a few tourist destinations in the city of Ulsan, scheduled to air at the beginning of next year through local media outlets.
