Sejin Heavy Industries to scale up its offshore wind business to be aligned with a “Green New Deal”
Sejin Heavy Industries unleashed a plan to scale up its offshore wind business to go in line with what’s called “Green New Deal”, proclaimed recently by the authorities.
Partnering with Dutch marine architecture business GustoMSC-NOV to manufacture Tri-Floater, a semi-submersible, floating wind turbine support structure, Sejin is planning to be part of stakeholders of a joint-construction work to build up offshore wind farms off the coastline of the city of Ulsan.
On the back of its specialty in manufacturing floating structure mounted on the farms, Sekin appears to be the main constructor in charge of installing the offshore high-voltage substation (OHVS).
