Ulsan city to run a biz-support program to help local biz expand sales channels via contactless platforms

As part of efforts to take proactive approach to the post-COVID-19 business climate and a shifting paradigm into digital transformation where non-face-to-face interactions are prevalent, the city of Ulsan started to launch a biz-support project designed to help local enterprises develop and expand sales channels via contactless platforms.

Targeting locally based companies, headquartered or running manufacturing facilities in Ulsan city, will be provided with financial aids up to KRW 10 million in three main sub-segments out of six sectors to be tasked, which encompasses the formation of e-commerce and contact-free services, virtual exhibition participation, brand value development and product quality enhancement etc.

Those hiring the disabled workers, or female employees or accredited with technology certificates will be given preferential priority to become the potential candidates for the program.
