ULSAN < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

An official anniversary, what’s called ‘Ulsan Hydrogen Industry Day’, marked for the first time last year with the aim of forming the world’s best hydrogen city by the end of 2030 and to commemorate the moment when Hyundai Motors Ulsan factory released its first debut model of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in Feb 26, 2013 was held on Feb 26 in Ulsan Technopark.

At this commemorative event, there was a special award ceremony to honor the major contributors of the development and advanced of the hydrogen industry in Korea.

Following the session, the city authorities and six separate business representatives, joining a city-led initiative to build a green mobility where the first hydrogen powered trams are running across the city, signed a partnership MOU to work together to build up industry base for the hub of hydrogen economy. The six signees include Hyundai Construction Equipment, Hyundai Motors, Hyundai Glovis, Korea Constructuin Equipment Technology institute and Ulsan Technopark.

In celebration of the event, approximately 20 members of online community, Nexo, has had an hour car parade driving across the town.
