Ulju-gun in the city of Ulsan signed an investment deal, equivalent in value to KRW 1.41 billion, on Mar 15 with Kojis.Co.,Ltdj and Jungun on Mar 15. Kojis, which has produced dust cover bracket auto parts since October 2018, unveiled its KRW 6.6 billion worth of investment plan to move into Ulju-gun in January this year. The auto parts has built up its production facility, adding 18 new jobs.
With KRW 3.8 billion, headrest stays and auto car seat cover manufacturer, Jungun, founded in July 2012, has also built up its production plant right next to its production facility locared near Bancheon Industry cluster in January. They hired 25 local residents.
The coverage of the investments extend to up to 10% of the cash grants- KRW 660 million for Kojis and KRW 380 million for Jungun, respectively.
Ulju-gun has ran such funding and cash flow programs that amount to nearly KRW 7.8 for 20 locally based companies since 2013.
The town leader said “I’d like to extend my sincere gratitude to new investors for their contribution even at these tough times of the pandemic. We’ll also make a collective effort to identify investors seeking opportunities and to run biz-support package, giving a boost to local economy and job creation.”
