According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan Free Economic Zone (UFEZ) has launched its investment promotion activities particularly targeting hydrogen business, a city official said on Apr 16. The municipal authorities have visited five companies, headquartered in capital cities nationwide from Apr 7 to Apr 9. Most of these businesses that UFEZ visited are involved in hydrogen production using processing technologies to formulate resources, building charging stations, battery production and energy distribution developing liquification and liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) technologies.

Delivering investor pitch presentation to introduce respective business model, projects and investment incentives, UFEZ called on these companies to contact for any possible investment or business relocation in Ulsan city.

Starting from the visit, UFEZ laid out a plan to form a nationwide network to further attract hydrogen business into the city.

“We’ll take more aggressive approach to investment promotion, making a visit and meeting with businesses onsite.” a UFEZ official said.
