Ulsan-Mipo Industrial Park has launched transforming it into a production hub of the green car and shipbuilding industry.
Ulsan city is gearing up for warming up to launch a business project, authorized in March last year, to reshape Ulsan-Mipo industry cluster, an official said on Apr 14.
The project is an all-encompassing development plan, integrating Techno into Maegok General Industry Cluster, while grouping separate business districts- Joongsan 1.2, Maegok 2.3 and Ewha, centered around Ulsan-Mipo Park.
To proceed the project in company with 31 detailed tasks in six segments including the development of plug-in hydrogen cars, the city spends as much as KRW 479.1 billion in total (national budgets KRW 287.1 billion, municipal budgets KRW 105.5 billion and private funds KRW 86.5 billion) by the end of the year 2024.
