Shinil PNS, an industrial plastic and packaging bag manufacturer, unveiled its investment plan to establish its new production plant, city officials said on May 17. Reaching a partnership deal with the municipal authorities, Shinil PNS invests KRW 9.6 billion in building a new factory, producing PE-sealant multilayer films, on a 3,535㎡ site near Ulju-gun (gross area: 3,364㎡).
The construction project starts from June this year and comes to an end in October 2022.
The investor pledged local hiring to improve employment opportunities in the community. in return for the investment, the city government provides all forms of administrative and financial supports to speed up the construction project.
