ULSAN < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan City announced on September 5 that it will call for participation of companies in the '2021 Global Growth and Advancement Startup Support Project' on September 6-24.

Following the Southeast Asian expansion program in the first half of this year, the city will support an accelerating program (educational, investment attraction, consulting, and other activities that startup planners support to companies to accelerate the growth of promising startups) for startups aspiring to advance into the United States in the second half of this year.

This program, jointly operated by Ulsan Technopark and startup support institute of Berkeley University of the US, consists of accelerating education, IR, and follow-up support for excellent companies (consulting and investor matching).

It will provide 3 weeks-education tailored to growth stages of companies, such as market status, commercialization direction, and investment attraction strategies to lay the foundation for overseas expansion.

Companies that have completed the training will be provided with the opportunity to participate in a company briefing session to assess their corporate capabilities.

For those who are selected as excellent companies through a company briefing session evaluation will be provided with follow-up support such as one-on-one consulting by US market experts and matching with local investors.

The companies which are 7 years old or younger are eligible for application, and 10 companies will be finally selected after screening process.
