The Ulsan Chamber of Commerce&Industry (Ulsan CCI) and 6 private investment companies participating in the creation of a floating offshore wind farm signed an MOU on December 8 to establish the 'Ulsan Floating Offshore Wind Power Committee'.

The signing ceremony held in the Ulsan CCI meeting room in the afternoon was attended by Ulsan's mayor, Ulsan CCI's chairman, and CEOs of six companies.

The six companies participating in the agreement are Korea Floating Wind, East Blue Power, Haeuri Offshore Wind Power, Gray Whale Offshore Wind Power, Firefly Floating Offshore Wind, and Munmubaram.

The Committee established according to the MOU is expected to revitalize networks among interested parties in the industry and play a governance role in promoting the floating offshore wind power industry.

In addition, Ulsan CCI and private investment companies plan to seek various ways for cooperation to train the manpower in Ulsan region and develop the supply chain of the floating offshore wind power, and continue to consult with related organizations and companies.
