On May 7, Ulsan-si announced that it will participate in '2024 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)' in Houston, US, and operate the 'Ulsan Pavilion' jointly with the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).

The OTC 2024 is an event participated by major companies and organizations in the marine energy industry encompassing oil and gas, which will take place in Houston, US on May 6-9.

The trade fair is likely to be attended by 1,400 companies and organizations and about 30,000 people from 40 countries.

In the Ulsan Pavilion, 6 Ulsan-based SMEs in the shipbuilding and marine fields will operate promotional booths.

The city will support participating companies with expenses for booth rental, equipment, transporation of exhibits, interpretation, and one-way airfare for business trip for each company.

Last year, business meetings dealing with about USD 237.84 million took place, recording the highest performance ever among Ulsan Pavilion operated at oversease exhibitions and trade fairs.

The city office said that participating companies also were greatly satisfied.
