On May 27, Ulsan-si announced that it will be signing a friendship and cooperation city agreement with Henan Province, China.

It is a follow-up measure to the Letter of Intent (LOI) for friendship and cooperation signed during the 14th General Assembly of the Association of North East Asia Regional Governments in October last year.

Henan Province has become the 11th city of friendship and cooperation.

With the agreement, the two cities agree to cooperate for exchanges in economy, culture, and sports, and closely communicate in the cooperation and exchange.

The signing ceremony will be taking place at a hotel in China on May 27.

Ulsan's mayor said, "we've taken a big step towards a new future with the signing of this agreement with Henan Province," adding that "we expect Ulsan companies have greater opportunity to enter Henan Province through close cooperation, and more people from Henan Province to visit Ulsan."
