Ulsan-si will hold a roundtable with the Tourism Science Society of Korea (TOSOK) at Hotel Hyundai by Lahan in Dongu on August 12.

About 30 officials from Ulsan-si, five districts and counties, the TOSOK, Ulsan Tourism Association, Ulsan Culture&Tourism Association will have frank discussion on how to secure the competitiveness of Ulsan tourism industry and create a sustainable tourism ecosystem.

The city also plans to attract the international academic conference of the TOSOK, which was held in Ulsan in 2017, through active communication and networking.

Starting with the meeting, about 20 members of the TOSOK plan to participate in the trip, invited by Ulsan-si, to Taehwagang National Garden, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewangam Park, Jangsaengpo Whale Museum, and Trevier Brewery in Ulsan on August 12-13.

The chairman of the TOSOK said, "we will communicate and cooperate with the city to explore ways to secure the competitiveness of Ulsan in tourism, which has distinctive tourism resources such as industries, ecology, and history."
