On September 2, Ulju-gun, Ulsan-si, announced that it has made active efforts to attract corporate investment, attracting KRW 110 billion in new investment and creating 250 jobs.
This year, 11 companies including SK Industry, Shinhan AT, Daehyup Tech, HJLM, Rinno aluminum, KHECOTECH, Daero Concrete, Suseong Plant Tech, Haesin Steel, TOP IND, and KOC Electric want to make new investment.
Under the agreement, these companies will invest a total of KRW 110 billion to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and to hiring 250 local residents.
Ulju-gun will administratively support for the companies to successfully implement investment and provide subsidies when the investment is completed.
Ulju-gun also delivered investment subsidies of KRW 24.2 billion in total to 3 companies that completed investment, including Korea Trailer, TS Chemtech, and TOP IND.
Korea Trailer is a company that manufactures trailers, which invested KRW 25.5 billion and created 16 jobs.
TS Chemtech is a chemical manufacturer that invested a total of KRW 5.5 billion and hired 17 new employees.
TOP IND, a manufacturer of auto parts, invested KRW 16.9 billion and created 17 new jobs.
