According to Yonhap News,
Ulsan city started the test operation of Tucsonix, Hyundai and Kia Motor's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, from July 21.
Tucsonix can run up to 160 km per hour, and can go 650 km on one charge with fuel efficiency of 31km per 1 liter.
The city will evaluate the performance of vehicles by assigning 14 vehicles to welfare organizations, and 5 to fuel cell parts makers. Ulsan Techno Park will manage driving data.
Prior to the test run, the city signed MOUs with Hyundai Motor in October 2009 to
promote the city as a leader in eco-friendly vehicles.
Hyundai and Kia Motors will test run about 100 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in Seoul, Ulsan and other major cities.
