According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to support Ulsan-based companies to advance into the emerging market.

The UNIDO is a specialized agency in the United Nations System, comprised of 174 developing countries aiming at promoting and accelerating industrial development and reducing poverty.

Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to invite foreign ambassadors to Korea from UNIDO members, including Argentina, Columbia, Mexico and Ecuador, to an investment seminar.

The four countries are emerging as high-potential markets with sufficient natural resources.

Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry hold an investment seminar in April for African, Angolan and Kenyan ambassadors to Korea.

"We will expand investment and export seminars to support local companies to make a foray into the dynamic emerging market with rich natural resources," said an official of Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
