According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan City, Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) hosted the Intellectual Property Forum last Thursday at Ulsan Lotte Hotel.

Kim Ho-won, chief of KIPO, highlighted the importance of intellectual property right on his presentation on "Intellectual Property Right and Ulsan's Local Economy."

Jeong Chang-hun, head of intellectual property center of UCCI, and Go Chung-gon, vice president of Intellectual Discovery, presented "Ulsan's Current Condition and Challenge in Intellectual Property" and "Domestic Companies Strategy to Win the Patent War," respectively.

Professors of regional universities and representatives of companies also participated in a discussion on "The Role of Academic-Industrial-Public Sector for Intellectual Property-Based Ulsan Economy."

About 120 people including Ulsan Mayor Park Maeng-u attended the forum.
