According to Yonhap News,
Ulsan invited a dozen of representatives of Beijing-based real estate investment companies and investment consulting companies this week to hold an investment relations (IR) event in a bid to attract Chinese investors to the marine and tourism resort city development project.
The city explained its development plan and introduced its dynamic growth in industry, history, culture and tourism on its city tour schedule.
In addition, Ulsan pledged to build all necessary infrastructures including roads and water and sewage system and offer various incentives including administrative supports.
The project is designed to develop the northern Ulsan area, well-known for its beautiful natural environment, into a worldwide tourism resort city.
"Given that most of the visitors are from real estate investment companies operating golf courses and resorts, they are expected to show strong interests in the project," an Ulsan City official said.
