Ulsan City announced last week that representatives from five cities of Ulsan, Queenstown in New Zealand, Engelberg in Switzerland, Toyama, Japan, and Hubei in China that have the “Alps” brand will gather to discuss facilitation measures for mountain tourism next month.

The cities have beautiful mountain tourist attractions in common.

The meeting will be held with about 100 representatives from each city, and will feature a meeting to introduce each city’s mountain tourism policies and plans, welcoming luncheon and customized tour programs.

The representatives will participate in the 2013 Ulju Odyssey which will be held on top of Yeongnam Alps.

Celebrating its third anniversary this year, the Ulju Odyssey is one of the largest concerts that are held on top of mountains.

In addition to Ulsan’s mountain tourist destinations, the visitors will also tour industrial complexes and cultural attractions, including Bangudae petroglyphs.
