Ulsan City and the Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency will send a trade mission to Shenyang, China this week to expand exports of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Eight participating companies have been selected through study and surveys by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency’s Korea Business Center.

The companies will hold one-on-one consultation sessions with local buyers to promote excellence of their products, which include automotive parts and agricultural equipment parts.

Partners of Shenyang Jinbei Huaji Automobile Parts Co., Ltd also participate in the session, leading to expectations for pratical results.

Recenly Shenyang is an emerging mecca of the automobile industry in China. The growth of automobile productsion and sales in the region is higher than the average by 13 percent, and automobile purchase is dramatically increasing.

A Ulsan official noted that the trade mission will help to increase trade between the two cities, adding that the city will focus on penetrating the Chinese market and increasing exports.
