Ulsan to Commence Construction of Biz Center in Early 2014

(ULSAN = Newsis) The city of Ulsan will commence the construction of general business center in Onsan National Industrial Complex in the first half of 2014.

The city, along with the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ulju Country and Ulsan Technopark, will invest a total of KRW 13.5 billion to construct five-story, 5,900m2 building and complete the construction at the end of 2015.

The building comprises the conference rooms, training center, assembly hall, offices for rent, general restaurants as well as amenities in a bid to push ahed “QWL project”, which aims to attract young people to the center.

The center will be operated under the supervision of Ulsan Technopark, and it is expected to combine the business function with the old industrial complex to become an attractive industrial complex for global small and medium-sized enterprises.

“Although Ulsan has been the largest national industrial complex in Korea, it lacked the supporting facilities within its complexes. We expect that the development of the business center will attract leading companies by offering improved business environment and working environment,” a government official said.

The city will hold the groundbreaking ceremony on March 22.
