(ULSAN = Newsis) The city of Ulsan, announced on January 18 that it will dispatch a trade mission to Chennai, India, to invite the country’s auto and machinery manufacturers in a bid to expand exports by Korea’s small and medium-sized enterprises in cooperation with Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency. The trade mission will stay in India from March 31 to April 4 to carry out promotion activities.

Products that benefit from Korea-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) will be the main target, including auto parts, industrial machinery and industrial materials which are highly demanded by the Indian companies due to the increase in investment in plant and equipment and export industrialization of India.

Ulan will support various fees including agency fees for discovering local buyers, interpretation fees in the one-on-one business consultation service and one-way ticket fares.

Economic exchange between Korea and India has steadily increased since two nations signed CEPA in 2008
