(ULSAN=NEWSIS) The City of Ulsan and the Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency have jointly selected seven global star venture capital companies in 2014.

According to Ulsan on August 21, IT Star, Lebe Industrial Co., Ltd. and Dong Won En Tech have been newly selected as global star venture capital companies, while WISCHEM, Taesung Environment Institute Co., Ltd., Chang Shin International Co., Ltd. and ATM have been selected for the second time.

The new three venture capital companies will receive funding of KRW 30 million and comprehensive support in accordance with the business performance including technology guarantee, financing and investment attraction for the next five years.

The reselected four companies will receive KRW 15 million of funding.

The global star venture capital company project is to find and support potential startups and venture capital companies. The project began in 2004 and 34 companies have so far been selected.
