ULSAN < invest Korea

(ULSAN=NEWSIS) The Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST•President Moo Je Cho) will carry out joint research on advanced materials with Hanwha Advanced Materials (CEO Kim Chang-beom).

UNIST and Hanwha Advanced Materials signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on September 15 to enhance the research capability and execute joint research on advanced materials including displays, touch panels and nanomaterials.

The advanced materials industry is an important industry that significantly contributes to the trade balance and industries in Korea.

Hanwha Advanced Materials is a global company that focuses on the development of advanced materials, such as light-weight parts, electron materials and solar materials.

UNIST and Hanwha Advanced Materials will develop a close industrial and academic relationship to utilize the research facilities and equipment together and exchange resources and information to find new challenges that they can research together.
