According to Yonhap News,

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) POSCO Plantec, the industry plant building arm of South Korea's No. 1 steelmaker, POSCO, said Tuesday that it has won a US$17 million order from French power solution provider Alstom S.A. to make two heat recovery steam generators (HRSG).

The modules are critical systems used in combined cycle power plants that help harness super-heated gases coming out of gas turbines and transform them into usable energy.

The company said the pair of 4,300-ton generators will be built at its main plant in Ulsan, 414 kilometers southeast of Seoul, and be shipped to Granbury, Texas, in July 2015.

POSCO Plantec said the latest order will give it the capability and credentials to expand into the energy plant building sector.

The company has been acquiring know-how in power generation and boiler construction since 2012 through a tie-up with a German partner, and has the means to design, build and test HRSGs.

The latest order could lead to new contracts from Alstom that could allow POSCO Plantec to expand its footprint in the energy production plant businesses that offers good growth potential.
